TRACEY CARR is 406 pounds, a size 40 and a lingerie model? The 36-year old tells her story on the British TV documentary "Chubby Chasers" which features the fun and revealing photo shoot where the raven-haired Brit poses in everything from black leather to red satin.

"This is all a bit new for me," says Tracey, whose 9 to 5 job is in the world of computers.

Tracey posed alongside a size 6 model for a British designer who thought it was time to make sexy clothes for plus-sized women.

"I was very nervous getting first sight of the outfits," Tracey says of her maid outfit and leather getups. "I didn't see them before I tried them on, but everybody reassured me that they're here to make me look good."

But Tracey reveals she wasn't always as comfortable with her large frame. "When I felt bad about myself, if I saw a big woman dressed in something I wouldn't have the nerve to wear, I would think to myself, 'You shouldn't be wearing that, you just shouldn't,'" she says.

It was the death of a boyfriend that Tracey says led her to gain weight. "You end up in a downward spiral," she says. "As self-esteem drops, men relate to you as a friend, a pal. They don't regard to you as sexual at all."

Even after three hours, six outfits and 10 rolls of film, Tracey says she barely saw herself gussied up. "All day I was in and out of outfits," she says. "With makeup changes and hair changes, there were no mirrors and I was judging from other people's reactions."

The skin-baring photo shoot clearly boosted Tracey's self-image. "Seeing myself in the mirror, I'm standing straighter and I've got my head held high," she says. "I couldn't believe I could look this good!"
