Portrait Fees and Procedure

Robert, our resident artist, normally works from photographs that are provided to him by e-mail. The bigger and clearer the photograph, the better. Send more than one picture, if you'd like, and he will be happy to offer his opinion as to which one he thinks would work the best.

The process starts with a sketch which is then enhanced on the computer. Robert provides each customer with a black and white sketch, by e-mail, for his or her review and approval, prior to adding color to the drawing. Robert works as precisely as he can and in high resolution so that, should you desire, a poster size print is possible.

As a finished product you receive a framed 8 1/2 x 11 print via U.S. mail, as well as a CD-ROM, which contains a high resolution (300 dpi) image in a JPEG format or other format you may prefer. With your permission, your portrait will be added to the Large and Luscious online BBW Art Gallery.

The cost for a full body portrait is $200, which includes the mailing cost for the drawing and CD-ROM. Please note that there may be an additional cost for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and foreign countries. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to begin a project. The balance is payable after completion, but before shipping. Payments may be made via Pay Pal (credit cards and checks), bank or postal money order, or cashier's check.

Because of the number of hours involved in creating a portrait, as well as Robert's workload, 3 weeks (from ordering to receiving the finished drawing) is the quickest turn-round possible.

The cost quoted above is for personal projects (one person portraits) of the basic nature, as seen on the website. Elaborate backgrounds or highly detailed drawings may increase the cost. For business or organizational projects, such as a logo, shirt designs, etc. the cost is on a per project basis.
